Discover how everyday objects, like your phone, can harbor germs—and explore the best ways to keep them clean!
At this interactive event held in the Environmental Health Lab on Belfast Campus, participants will swab their phones to measure contamination using a touch luminometer. Then, test different cleaning methods:
- Tissue paper
- Alcohol wipes
- Phone cleaning kit
- UV sanitizer box
After cleaning, swab again to see the results! A brief talk will also cover germs on common objects, contamination risks, and effective cleaning tips. Perfect for families and the public!
