Inside the Lab - The Science of Cell Culture at QUB
Event Description

Join us for an engaging event where you’ll discover how scientists grow and study human cells—like blood vessel, nerve, muscle, and immune cells—in the lab. Selected volunteers, often children, can try techniques used to explore how cells behave in disease and respond to treatments.

Enjoy a guided tour of the cutting-edge cell culture facilities at the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute of Experimental Medicine, Queen’s University Belfast, and learn about the latest research shaping our understanding of human health and disease. Don’t miss this unique dive into the world of cell science!

Did you know that donations and gifts in Wills to Queen’s are a significant source of funding for our vital work in education and research? Visit
