Capturing Rathlin: Photography Workshop & Overnight Stay
Event Description

This exclusive package offers a unique blend of academic insight and artistic exploration through a photography workshop facilitated by Belfast Exposed and led by multi-award-winning photojournalist Cathal McNaughton.

Delve into the intricacies of portrait photography, mastering the art of capturing islanders in their favourite setting – whether bathed in the natural daylight of the bay or nestled by the fireside during the evening hours, the photos created during this workshop unravel the nuances of light and shadow endemic to Rathlin.

Belfast Exposed provides all equipment, and participants will take part in both an afternoon and evening shoot, each followed by and editing session. Workshops will be limited to 20 participants.

As part of this package you will stay at the Manor House, a magnificent Georgian building offering panoramic views of Church Bay and the Atlantic Ocean and gain complimentary access to any other island events happening on Saturday as part NI Science Festival.

Packages for 2 people sharing start from £240 bed & breakfast. Other room options are available.

Make sure to book ferry tickets in advance to avoid disappointment (please note the last ferry leaves Rathlin at 16:30, and that not all ferries accept luggage).

Please note all bookings are through the Manor House which reopens after the festive period on 7 January 2025.
