Unearthing the Treasures of Our Limestone Landscape
Event Details

The Cave Crew of the Marble Arch Care are excited to host a new above-ground activity with local schools this year exploring the rich heritage of Killykeeghan National Nature Reserve (ASSI). Students will learn about the local human geography and heritage, the geology and surface karst landforms and the unique biodiversity of this special site through an exciting new interactive guided trail.

Equipped with an activity booklet and accompanied by a knowledgeable Marble Arch Caves guide, students will explore the site collecting information, pictures and videos of points of interest in order to build their own mini case study of a local area steeped in fascinating history, folklore and more!
