Progression & Skills Development in Science from KS2 - KS4 Teacher Training
Event Details
This professional development event, led by CCEA is targeted at post-primary teachers who teach Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels.
The theme of the event is around progression and will include three interactive and/or practical-based workshops which focus on how post-primary schools can contribute to a smooth student transition from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3 in their studies of Science, how Science practicals can be used to consolidate knowledge and understanding to aid progression to content on the Key Stage 4 Science specifications all whilst on a low budget, and how science in an extra-curricular context can contribute to progression of skills development.
