Growing plants in a liquid nutrient solution with or without soil is hydroponics. Your plants will grow quicker in hydroponics systems as the nutrients solution is absorbed quicker via the plant roots system.
With a focus on your GCSE Double Award Science specification - Photosynthesis and Plants. Why not come along to CAFRE and spend some time looking at different methods (i.e with and without soil) of growing plants. During this practical workshop you will also make your own hydroponics kit to take home.
