Exploring Carbon
Event Details

Discover the natural carbon cycle in the world around us as you explore Brook Hall Estate & Gardens.

Explore how we measure the carbon in our trees and soils, how we manage our carbon, and how we can remove carbon from the atmosphere to sequester it into the landscape.

Learn how we use the natural carbon cycle to create renewable biomass energy from our willow farm to provide heat to our local community.

This event is for school groups of all ages. It includes an outdoor walking tour around the estate and hands on activities. Suitable clothing and footwear is essential.
