Event Details
This workshop is offered in partnership between AmmA Creative Learning and Armagh Observatory & Planetarium. Before creating their own music masterpiece, participants will take inspiration from the sights and sounds of the ‘Our Place in the Cosmos’ dome show at the Planetarium.
Using the art of “sound synthesis” participants will work with AmmA digital specialists to create their own intergalactic soundscapes. Discover ‘synth’ programming and sampling techniques as you create your own unique “unearthly” sounds that are as big as the Milky Way!
To finish, participants will combine their sounds with images and video for a big screen showcase!
