Event Description

In this imaginative and curriculum-linked workshop, pupils will explore how the world of work has evolved,  and where it might be heading next. Using the Northern Ireland Screen Digital Film Archive as a starting point, we’ll journey through six decades of changing industries, technologies, and careers.

Armed with iPads, Apple Pencils, and Procreate, students will bring their ideas to life through digital illustration, creating vibrant concept art that contrasts work in the past, present, and future. From robot doctors to Mars farmers, pupils will reimagine the jobs of tomorrow while developing key skills in digital creativity, visual storytelling, and critical thinking.

This workshop offers a dynamic way to connect history, art, and STEM, encouraging young learners to reflect on how innovation continues to shape our world.
