NI Science Festival Shortlisted for Arts & Culture Festival of the Year
28th October 2026
We’re delighted to announce that NI Science Festival has been shortlisted for Arts & Culture Festival of the Year at the UK Festival Awards 2026.
The shortlisting recognises the scale and reach of our festival across NI and all the support and hard work it requires. Last year we delivered 350 events across Northern Ireland and welcomed 60,000 of you, bringing science to audiences of all ages in venues, schools and communities across the region.
The winner is decided partially by public vote, and we need your help to bring the award home to Northern Ireland. Voting takes just a minute, and every vote counts.
Vote now for NISF
Voting closes on Tuesday 3rd November, so please cast your vote and share it with friends, family and colleagues.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the festival, from our audiences and partners to our volunteers and event hosts. This shortlisting belongs to all of you.
Let’s celebrate NI. Let’s celebrate science.
