Green Tourism Award

4th October 2023

We are delighted to be one of the first festival’s in Belfast to have been awarded our Bronze Green Tourism Award!

We are committed to looking at ways to make the NI Science Festival greener and will continue to showcase events in our SIREN strand which delve into the science behind the climate emergency. All of our activities in the SIREN programme will be geared toward achieving our vision of a city that is inspired by the natural world, convinced of its value, and prepared to engage with our collective challenges. We believe the Science Festival must contribute to achieving a city that is climate resilient and sustainable.
