WATER WORKS
Event Description

In a series of workshops targeted at different age groups and skill levels we will build small to medium scale toy boats out of recycled material with as little glue and tape as possible.

With the help of boating experts, everyone will be able to launch their boat from the table shipyard to the paddling pool. No shanty songs but plenty of talk about our water systems.

What boats have been built in our area? What materials were used? How do we use the Lagan and how have they been used in the past? How will the river and the riverbank look like with the impact of climate change?
