Underwater Robots
Event Description

Join the research team in Portrush for a Remotely Operated Vehicle dive that will reveal some of the hidden wonders of our underwater world…

Used for everything from climate research to mapping and collecting samples, underwater robots can access challenging and hazardous environments like deep water and underneath ice, doing things we just can’t manage on our own. Gaining access to these areas is vital to

help us better understand the way our oceans work, so underwater robots are instrumental tools we can use to protect our world.

Following the success of last year, this event showcases a host of underwater robots from various collaborative partners in Ireland, with the chance to connect with researchers in this exciting area of marine science and robotics.
