Event Description
Join us at OM for a talk about the formation and evolution of stars across their vast lifespans, a topic near to our heart here beneath NI’s darkest skies. We’ll illustrate the different stages of a star’s life with imagery taken using our LX600 telescope and our Slooh account, and discuss the forces at play within them, as well as some of their exotic end stages. One for everyone who’s pondered the different colours and brightness of the stars that pepper our night skies – no prior knowledge required.
