The Digital Health Future
Event Description

Will Digital Technologies & Artificial Intelligence Change Our Health?

Apps and chatbots are being used to help people self-care and self-manage their health and wellbeing. And many of us use wearables to help monitor and gamify physical activities. Artificial intelligence is being used to help automatically diagnose patients by using algorithms to read X-rays and electrocardiograms.

This event will provide a series of accessible public lectures that will present the state-of-the art in digital cardiology, radiology, oncology, and mental health. This will cover topics such as the use of sensor data, healthcare apps, chatbots and the use of artificial intelligence to support doctors in making clinical decisions. We will also look at the use of design fiction to help visualise the future of healthcare.

This event will take place in Room: BC-03-102
