Event Description
Find out what it’s like to be a biomedical scientist as researchers including a PhD student, postdoctoral fellow and principal investigator talk about their work and various career paths. There’ll be a chance to ask them any questions, while various teaching staff will also be on hand to explain the opportunities available within QUB.
We’ll then split into subgroups and go for a tour of the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine (WWIEM) building, including the microscopy facility. The tours will then return to the open event in the WWIEM atrium, where Biomedical Research in Action will be on display from 1pm-5pm.
