Sight-Read: A poetry workshop with 3D-printed Braille
Event Description

Using tactile images and 3D-printed Braille fragments of poetry, this workshop explores the art of poetry in new forms.

Participants will be introduced to the popular poetic technique of Ekphrasis by responding to tactile images of architectural motifs and dragons. We will also explore collage poetry made using 3D-printed fragments of Braille. This workshop is open to all sight levels and non-Braille users can use their codebreaking skills to read the Braille fragments.
