Science Sandwich: Mayflies in the Mists of Time
Event Description

Mayflies are an ancient lineage of freshwater insects, with fossil records extending back some 300 million years. Today, they are considered sensitive indicators of environmental change, and many studies use them for this purpose.

Join Helen James, Senior Curator of Natural Sciences, National Museums NI, to find out more about these fascinating insects all while enjoying some lunch.

Price includes a sandwich and tea/coffee. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available but please contact stephanie@nisciencefestival.com with any further dietary requirements.
