Queen's Biology Showcase
Event Description

Understanding and protecting the world around us is the defining goal of our time. To achieve this we need to explore the weird and wonderful biodiversity of the Earth, produce safe and nutritious food sustainably, and learn how to fight diseases. The biological sciences play a key role in these societal goals, so come and meet scientists from the Queen’s School of Biological Sciences who explore the natural world and how we can better take care of it. Come and meet local marine life! How can we feed ourselves more sustainably? Why does climate change mean that diseases are on the move? Come and explore all of these things and more through talks and interactive exhibits
