Potty about Prehistoric Pots with Dr Eileen Murphy
Event Description

Some beautiful Early Bronze Age pots have been recovered from burials on Rathlin Island.

These may have contained organic items used during the funeral or that were included to help the deceased in the afterlife. Participants will have the opportunity to make and decorate a clay pot for themselves and to find out more about prehistoric pottery in Ireland. They will also have a chance to recreate a Rathlin cist burial using a replica human skeleton.

Please check ferry times for travel.

This event is free for residents of Rathlin Island
