Lego Cartography – Map the World!
Event Details

Everyone loves Lego and we love maps! Help us create a Lego map of the world! Using a Lego World Map set we will create a custom map showing important environmental and climate change data sourced from world climate observations and scientific research. Work in a team to build a section of the map with help from mapping and climate scientists at the School of Geography, Queens University Belfast. The map will show how the worlds sea temperatures have changed and where the world’s major land habitats or ‘Biomes’ are found.

The finished map will be hung in the Geography Building for students and visitors to view. Meet up in our Geographical Information Systems lab (GIS) and start mapping!
