Environmental Éadaí - Sustainable Fashion (Irish Language Event)
Event Details

This event is part of SIREN23 in Belfast

Moya is an environmental activist, and works in the costume department for Film, TV & Theatre. She runs @environmentaléadaí, a bilingual account on Instagram, where she documents her attempt at a sustainable lifestyle, charity shop finds and how she tries to make the film industry less wasteful. Her talk will cover the environmental & mental benefits that comes with living a slower, more sustainable, fast fashion free life. Expect tips, tricks and a look into the unsustainable world of dressing actors for screen.

Moya also runs Switch, an eco-conscious clothes swap that raises money for charities around Ireland. A mini swap will be taking place during the festival - take along a item or two and leave with some new-to-you clothes!

An English language version of this event will also be taking place at 12:00pm
