Climate Songs and Stories for Children - with Maeve Leahy & Anna Nolan

Environment & Nature
Event Details

This event is part of SIREN23 in Derry.

Enjoy some modern climate fables for children in this uplifting and inspiring family event led by Maeve Leahy and Anna Nolan. These relaxed sessions are aimed at children but carry compelling messages for us all.

Following the fables, you can enjoy learning some simple but powerful songs encouraging us to look after our beautiful planet.

Please note: The songs will be taught by ear to the whole group at once, with no one put on the spot. No musical experience is needed.

About the facilitators:

Maeve Leahy is an actor, singer and facilitator from Singing Mamas Derry and a volunteer member of Zero Waste North West and Ethical Weigh Cooperative.

Anna Nolan is a singer, a facilitator of Singing Mamas Derry and Music Kin, and co-director of the Inishowen Gospel Choir.
