Science Communication
Artist Talk with Raymond Watson
Event Description

Join us for an in-person discussion with artist, Raymond Watson and local conservation officer, Hannah Fullerton to find out more about our local bee population and Raymond's passion for art, bees and conservation.

Raymond has been studying the behaviour of the bees in his own apiary for many years. He has created a show that subsequently explores the life of the bees in many forms - from sculpture and soundscapes to paint.

Hannah Fullerton, a Buglife Conservation Officer in the Northern Ireland branch in charge of a project called Belfast’s Buzzing; which aims to connect habitats for pollinators in the city with the surrounding countryside. Hannah is working alongside community groups and schools around Belfast to improve perceptions on pollinators and plant wildflower meadows for these important insects.

Tickets aren't necessary but you can register your attendance via the booking link.

Refreshments will be available.

The exhibition will run from 16th - 26th February.
