AFBI Research Vessel Tours
Event Description

The popular Agri-food and Bioscience Institute (AFBI) Research Vessel - the R.V. Corystes - will open its doors once again to welcome aboard members of the public as part of the NI Science Festival 2024. Join one of the hourly tours and climb on board for a tour of the ship, where you’ll meet the crew and scientists and find out what they do when they go to sea!

Tours last 35-40 minutes and must be booked in advance.

Accessibility - We would like to inform you that the RV Corystes is a scientific research vessel, not normally accessible to the general public. Therefore it has several health and safety restrictions. Due to the small spaces and scientific structures and equipment a tour is not possible for anyone with restricted mobility and wheelchair access is not possible.
