Event Details

The popular Agri-food and Bioscience Institute (AFBI) Research Vessel - the R.V. Corystes - will open its doors once again to welcome aboard members of the public as part of the NI Science Festival 2023. Join one of the hourly tours and climb on board for a tour of the ship, where you’ll meet the crew and scientists and find out what they do when they go to sea!

Tours last 35-40 minutes and must be booked in advance.

Unfortunately, the ship cannot accommodate children or adults who are unable to walk unaided, due to the steep, narrow steps between decks. Please note: no high heels are permitted on board.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Not accessible for wheelchairs or for people with mobility issues.

Please note the change in date from our printed programme. All information on this web listing is correct. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
