Come along to The Black Box to explore Science and Sound!
Our 'Aethereal Material' project is an exploration of the symbiotic relationship between sound, conversation and music, making use of the 'speech-to-song' auditory illusion. (https://deutsch.ucsd.edu/psych...)
The Express Yourself Social Cafe at The Black Box have been recording soundscapes, compositions and improvisations throughout the project. This event will showcase the work and be an official launch of the LP!
Members of the public will be invited to try out the 'speech-to-song' auditory illusion and experiment with Sound!
