Event Description
Two online resources will be launched as part of the NI War Memorial’s, NI Science Festival programme, focusing on wartime first aid and the role of women during the Second World War in Northern Ireland.
The Wartime First Aid Story Map builds on our oral history collection, sharing first-hand memories of wartime medicine through an interactive web-based map linked to objects and interviews in our collection.
The second resource is an online exhibition hosted on Bloomberg Connects, offering a behind-the-scenes look at Women’s Wartime Uniforms that cannot be displayed permanently.
Both resources can be accessed independently and complement our related talk and
workshop.
