In celebration of the NI Science Festival, chef Gemma Austin presents a special five-course tasting menu inspired by McConnell’s 5 Year Old Irish Whisky and the science of flavour.
Each course takes inspiration from a different stage of the whisky-making process, transforming chemistry into cuisine. Expect flavour experiments and sensory surprises, as you dine amid the copper stills where McConnell’s spirit is born.
Set within the atmospheric surroundings of McConnell’s Distillery, this unique dining experience invites guests to discover the craft of whisky making from grain to glass — and why five really is the magic number.
