Event Description
40 years of wildlife, television & unforgettable encounters
For four decades, BAFTA award-winning presenter Michaela Strachan has brought the natural world into our homes, from The Really Wild Show and Countryfile to Springwatch and beyond.
In this special one-hour festival edition of her live show Not Just a Wild Life, Michaela takes audiences behind the scenes of a remarkable career spent getting up close to wildlife and the people who study and protect it.
Expect extraordinary animal encounters, entertaining tales from filming in the wild, television mishaps and fascinating insights into how our understanding of nature and conservation has changed over the past 40 years.
Warm, funny and full of stories, this is a celebration of the natural world — and of a life spent encouraging generations to look at it a little more closely.
