Event Description

The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (SMAE) has a reputation for making a positive difference to society through leading edge research with outstanding people and world class facilities. The SMAE Research Showcase will demonstrate our vibrant and inclusive environment where we conduct innovative, novel and multidisciplinary research. This showcase event will feature a mixture of presentations, interactive displays, poster sessions and tours.

During the showcase event you will:

• See the impact of our collaborations with industry and successful spin out companies and how they ensure our innovative research makes a rapid and direct positive impact on society.
• Connect with our vibrant postgraduate research community in SMAE who are involved in tackling the cutting edge of development.
• Engage and interact with our state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities through interactive tours and displays, demonstrations and poster sessions.
• Be inspired by our academic staff and the future direction of our research.
