Event Description
Explore the fascinating world of human anatomy with Queen’s University Belfast.
You’ll have the chance to view rare, historical specimens and see a live beating heart in real-time using ultrasound technology. Inspired by what you’ve seen, you’ll then create your own anatomy-themed design on a canvas tote bag to take home.
We’ll provide all the materials, reference images, and guidance to help you bring your ideas to life. The course is suitable for those with a range of artistic abilities and/or knowledge of human anatomy. Viewing of specimens is optional and will be done in full accordance with the Human Tissue Authority Act Regulations.
Note: This workshop will not include viewing of whole human or dissected wet specimens.
