The Marble Arch Caves UNESCO Global Geopark is holding a competition for primary schools to create a 2D/3D classroom display demonstrating the animals that lived in our seas on the island of Ireland 340 million years ago and how their remains formed into fossils.
To aid understanding of fossils and help generate ideas for the display incorporate our Fossilised Footprints experiment into your teaching (Teaching Resources within Information Pack).
The classes with the best display will win a free trip for a fun, educational and adventurous land and water-based activity.
To register your interest (must register during NI Science Festival) and receive your Information Pack email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Deadline for submitted competition entries is Friday 26 March 2020.
