Friend or foe - some microbes tend to have a bad name with food poisoning incidents and food spoilage. However, without the activities of microbes there would no bread, cheese, chocolate or beer!

With a focus on the GCSE Applied Science specification, spend some virtual laboratory time with our Food Microbiologists learning the skill of aseptic techniques. You’ll hear about autoclaving & incubation and watch how food industry technologies harness the magic of bioluminescence for rapid microbial results.
