Anorexia Nervosa is the most dangerous psychiatric condition, and yet only 13% of those affected are engaged in professional help

The public awareness of Eating Disorder has definitely been improving in recent years.  A number of famous individuals have spoken openly about their difficulties.  Any conversation that helps people to come forward and share their own story is for the better.  The challenge, however, is that the information out there can be hard to sift through for truth and tricky to understand.

It is with that in mind that Dr David Coyle, Regional Consultant Psychiatrist for the Eating Disorder Service, is delivering a schools talk/workshop, with an aim to generate curiosity, promote learning and steer people in the right direction to seek help.
