Shooting The Stars Workshop (Belfast)

Sunday 25 February, 1.00pm, 2.30pm & 4.00pm | Field Trip: 6.30pm

Suitability: 16+

If a picture is worth a thousand words, the images captured by Adam Porter of The Northern Light Gallery and Studio, are worth a library! Adam’s incredible eye, talent and skills in capturing stunning images of landscapes and our celestial heavens are widely recognised and his images have been published by the Irish Times, RTE and Audi, among others. This technical workshop will teach participants the skills required to capture their own stunning images of our stellar skies at night by mastering some of the myriad features of participants own digital SLR cameras. Once all workshops have finished, Adam will lead interested participants on a field trip to a local spot where they can test their newly acquired skills, regardless of weather conditions.
NOTE: Participants must bring their own Digital SLR camera and tripod to this workshop as equipment will not be supplied. Transport for the (optional) field trip is not supplied.
